Summary
SabaiThai works without an account. It has no advertising and does not track users across apps or websites. Learning data remains on the device. The app transmits only the purchase information and limited analytics described below.
Data stored on your device
Saved phrases, lesson and review progress, streaks, XP, quiz results, and settings remain in the app's storage on your device. They are not sent to the developer. Uninstalling the app removes them according to the operating system's normal behavior.
Translation
Translation text is processed on your device with Google ML Kit and is not sent to us or Google. The app may download a language model from Google the first time a language is used. That download may involve ordinary network information such as an IP address, but it does not include text you translate.
Microphone and audio
If you choose pronunciation practice, the app requests microphone permission to analyze audio on your device. Audio is not stored permanently or uploaded. You can deny or revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications
The optional daily practice reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No push server is used and notification data is not sent to the developer.
Trial and in-app purchase
The app provides seven days of full access at no charge, with no automatic billing. After that, users may make a one-time lifetime-unlock purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment. The developer and RevenueCat do not receive card numbers or payment-method details.
SabaiThai uses RevenueCat to display the product, validate receipts, unlock access, and restore purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase history and a randomly generated anonymous app user identifier, together with limited technical data such as device type, operating system, storefront country, device locale, and app UI locale. This information is used for app functionality, fraud prevention, support, and aggregate purchase analytics. It is not used for advertising or cross-app or cross-website tracking.
Retention and deletion requests
You can remove learning data stored locally by deleting the app. Apple and RevenueCat may retain some transaction information for financial obligations, fraud prevention, and restoring access. To ask about or request deletion of data associated with the anonymous identifier, contact us at the email below.
Children
SabaiThai is a general Thai-learning tool and is not designed to collect personal data from children. The limited purchase-related processing is the same for users of all ages.
